He spent 15 years in the suburbs of Paris where he discovered through the works of Cartier Bresson, Doisneau, Ronis, Kertesz, Boubat, Brassa\u00ef and many others fine photographers that everyday life could be worth of interest and become work of art. Very much influenced by these masters, the Humanists, and the American street photographers he started his project on the children of the Groux (1986-1992), a poor housing estate in Fresnes, Val de Marne and got a scholarship from \u201cle Conseil G\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Val de Marne\u201d to exhibit his work in many cities of the south suburb of Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Back to Marseilles, \u201cImages Plurielles\u201d, a photography publisher from Marseille\u00a0gathered his photographs of Children in Urban area in a book \u201cphoto-la-graphie moi\u201d (2001) which is now sold out. Among his other works: \u201cBody and Soul\u201d, jazz portraits of live musicians; \u201cLe soleil nous laisse \u00e0 desjours plus Vieux\u201d, pictures of seniors in everyday life; \u201cVIETNAM 39\u201d his return to\u00a0Vietnam after 39 years of absence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the mere bystander to Jazz musicians, from children to seniors, in cities of the world or here and there, in front of his house or in a remote country, he tries to catch in his lens the beauty, sometimes the gravity but always the poetry of a situation, a gentle gesture, a simple look.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mathieu.do-duc.fr\/?p=784\" target=\"_blank\">Qui suis-je?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cNews don\u2019t interest me.
